It is not to minimize our LORD but rather to make the point that Christianity, in fact all of humanity can be summed up, in this one simple phrase Opposition to Lakeland Florida Revival   Not surprisingly those who opposed the move of God at Toronto, Pensacola and Brownsville are at it again, this time with Lakeland Florida.   Leading the charge with his ‘little following’ is self appointed revival teacher/prophet, Andrew Strom. He is supposed to run a revival school, but has never actually led a revival, nor been chosen of the LORD to lead one, typically all he offers is his ‘intellectual’ opinion of how the LORD should do things.  Andrew has been around the ‘zoo’ for enough years to have gathered to himself a number of like minded (emphasis on minded) people. The chief characteristic is the religious to the point of legalism spirit of the Pharisee which has opposed the LORD since He was here in the flesh.   A short visit to his site ‘Revival School’, moderated by like ‘minded’ Lynn quickly reveals zeal to discredit the Lakeland Revival that borders on hysteria. Zealous posters, including the moderator (Lynn) and the sites founder (Andrew Strom) have no trouble with letting posters offer up comments which are nothing short of pure lies in an effort to prove their cause.   What is their cause? Well in their deceived ‘minds’ they would belief they are saving all Christendom from a grand plot of Satan which will deceive all those who don’t follow their ‘mindly’ advice. To that end, they put forth all manner of deceptions including saying the move of the Holy Spirit is the work of Satan, that Todd Bentley is a Satanist and other equally absurd claims.   The fact is the people on this site, Andrew Strom included would not know a genuine move of the Holy Spirit because they are bound by the same religious devils which held the Pharisees.   They are convinced that unless everyone is rolling around in the dirt groveling before the LORD in repentance, it could not possibly be a genuine move of the Holy Spirit. Why? Because that is how their deluded minds think that believers must behave whenever the Holy Spirit manifests in a tangible manner. Truth is it is extremely unlikely that any of the opponents on this site have ever experienced a manifestation of the Holy Spirit beyond a few goose bumps. Their spiritual deafness and blindness is obvious to anyone who has ever known the Holy Spirit beyond what they ‘think’ He is supposed to do.   They seem to fail to realize that born again, Spirit led believers who delight at the LORDS Presence would actually sing and dance and shout when the LORD does makes His Presence known. I am certain they are all happier with the dry, dead church ‘service’ which has kept people out of the churches in droves for decades now.   Since they can’t dispute the healings and deliverance which believers are experiencing they of course have embarked on a Todd Bentley smear campaign, simply repeating lies and innuendo impugning the man based on his appearance, his past, his likes etc. etc. You know the stuff which the religious crowd always does….. the Pharisees could not deny the miracles the LORD did so they attacked Him accusing Him of doing miracles in the power of the devil.   Nothing has changed, same devil, same religious people……nothing new under the sun.   My advice to you? What Scripture Says About Jesus the Christ   Mat 1:1  The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.   His lineage is traced to David, who was a King, as is our LORD.   Mat 1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Mat 1:21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.   Born of a virgin and foretold He will save people from their sins.   Mat 3:13  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. Mat 3:14  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? Mat 3:15  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. Mat 3:16  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: Mat 3:17  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.   Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and the Spirit of God descended upon  Him with His Father decarling  His pleasure in His only begotten Son.   Mat 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Mat 4:2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Mat 4:5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, Mat 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Mat 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Mat 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; Mat 4:9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Mat 4:10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Mat 4:11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.   Jesus was led by the Spirit into a forty day fast, and then He was confronted, and tempted by the devil. The LORDS weapon was the Word of God.   Mat 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mat 4:18  And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. Mat 4:19  And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Mat 4:20  And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. Mat 4:21  And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. Mat 4:22  And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.   Our LORD begins His ministry by calling disciples to Himself. It seems He only asked them once, and they followed without question.   Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Mat 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.   You will note it says that He healed them, not just some of them but all of them. The LORDS pattern was to teach, cast out devils and heal all manner of sickness. That is still His ministry today.
